I'm there on Day 1 with the better half (her first ever cricket match) and then with a mate on Day 3. Looking forward to it.

I suppose that's true for an opinion of how good/bad the beer tastes, but viewers at home get better replays and the toilet is nearer.Yeah. Therefore my opinion is worth more than those who don’t go. That’s what I’m told anyway

I don't have Sky at home currently so I can't wait to see a bit of cricket, and get a batch of Brownie Points while I am at it.
Is he still around? Must be another username surely. I haven't seen his musings for ages.WHED says otherwise

Full day though, in a beer garden where you can bring in your own refreshments.Thought about it, can’t afford it. f***ing ridiculous prices.

I’m not comparing it to footie. If I wanted to gan sit in a beer garden that’s what I’d do, it wouldn’t cost me anything for entry and I’d just have to buy my beer.Full day though, in a beer garden where you can bring in your own refreshments.
When you spread the cost over a good 7 or 8 hours, it's not that bad compared to footy.
You wouldn't have test cricket going on in the beer garden though.I’m not comparing it to footie. If I wanted to gan sit in a beer garden that’s what I’d do, it wouldn’t cost me anything for entry and I’d just have to buy my beer.
Well yeah, that’s why it probably wasn’t the best comparison on your partYou wouldn't have test cricket going on in the beer garden though.
@forzamilansafc is. Not sure which day though.
Yes, I thought he should have been at 3 in India and it annoys me that he’s been ‘protected’ as you say down at 6. If he’s as good as everyone says he is let’s see him be given and take some responsibility.Aye, buzzing to see Mo Ali actually
One of my favourite cricketers, 5,6,7,8 of Bairsotw, Buttler, Ali and Curran
Yes please
Anyone think Pope's way back in the team could be at 3
Granted he will be lucky to be back in the side, but if they really rate this lad as the next big thing, the stage now of "protecting" him is long gone. He needs to step up. Could be an option, he can't stay at 6 forever. We have better options there IMO, especially when everyone is fit.
