The implication here is that Sunderland are in League 1 because the fans didn't try hard enough.

But in his whole time at the club, Newcastle fans have never, ever been able to influence Mike Ashley or change his mind. Maybe Sunderland fans could have acted differently, but I certainly wouldn't be looking at the efforts of Newcastle fans as some kind of blueprint for making change happen at a football club.

Shouting at Ashley’s shops certainly worked like

Mate, seriously consider logging off.

This can’t be good for your health.
Just put him on ignore. I got sick of the same old diatribe months ago. He will sharp go away when no one responds. All for intelligent mag responses, but Fish''s baiting and monotony do my head in.

Time to get the popcorn out.

Their problem is that they make wild promises they never keep, from picketing the PL headquarters, or Parliament or a shop. It always ends up with a few dozen bedraggled shufflers including a couple with Sports Direct carrier bags. They won't invade the pitch and they won't blockade the roads, everyone knows that. It's because they know the 'injustice' isn't that at all.
They don't want investment in the region at all.

They're a PL club who had a good run in the cup, they're no different to Arsenal, Leeds or Southampton. A consortium tried to buy the club, on false pretences, was sussed and walked away. There's no bloody conspiracy and they know it. What they're a bit peeved about is how they thought they were rich, now they're not so rich. Annoying but not worth throwing yourself under the King's horse for.

I love one of the replies though, really made me laugh.

" We need them to take noticed and do something we have never done before."

Yeah, how about acting with a little dignity and stop showing up the NE, now that would be a first.

There's not a shred of evidence that PIF are still involved. Stavely has been vocal as she's fucked up again (she always does) and wants a clear path back so she can go back to them. This will never happen as the PL will never relent and the CAT case will get kicked out. It's about Ashley getting compensation and an excuse not to spend when the team will likely scrape by, and if they don't he sees Bruce as perfect to bring them back with little investment. Their crowds will drop again but it doesn't bother him as he gets the PL money or parachute payments. The Mags think he uses them to prop up his other businesses. He doesn't. The likes of Wraith keep up the pretence so it ups his followers on Twitter so he can sell his shit Gangster videos. There is no takeover, certainly not by the Saudis. Anyone they get now will be seen as not good enough for their European Super Club who've swept all before them for ever status that exists only in their deluded minds. We could even embarrass them this season as crowds could drop below 30k whereas if we are pushing could likely top that at some games.

They're a shit show of their own making and I for one find it hilarious.

Because it was well ran, so why the protest? You now have a manager who has given you the best cup runs I can remember, in back to back years and he's a geordie to boot!
Just as a point, as it often gets repeated on here as I'm assuming you're comparing cup competitions between Bruce and Benitez.. whilst I agree in general Bruce seems to take the cups more seriously, which I see as a good thing, both Rafa and Bruce have got as far as a quarter final. Identical.

Bailed them out when their beloved John Hall had spent beyond their means.
Exactly - any mag who refutes this should visit

2006 a/c show non-current liabilities at 74.5m and that year the loss was 12m.
