Maybe people can give the lad a break now and find someone else to scapegoat

Good shout about MorganHaven’t seen him scapegoated to be honest, but I wish him all the best. His well being takes priority
I bet that twat Morgan doesn’t react the same way he did with Osaka and Biles mind

I revert back to the unjustified personal criticism the lad has had thrown at him recently regarding his performances which have astounded me to be honest. Lost his Dad recently and playing with a knackered hand. Can't be easy for him, hope he enjoys his time away and gets himself feeling better. Not sure what I’ve missed here but what has Stokes been scapegoated for?
Very sad that he’s not going to be able to play. Such a talent in the best years of his playing career. Hope he comes back better and has a swansong to his career a la Graham Thorpe.
I would hope not seeing as he’s Stokes’ One Day captain.Haven’t seen him scapegoated to be honest, but I wish him all the best. His well being takes priority

His performances in 2019 in the World Cup and the unforgettable test match at headingly were truly world class.Maybe people can give the lad a break now and find someone else to scapegoatYou must be logged on to see external links
Covid, lockdown, lost his dad, maybe missing family in NZ, hand injury... Could be a mixture. Either way best wishes to him, clearly been fighting some demons in his head and needs a break.was thinking it might have been something to do with his dad ?
It's a different kettle of halibut.Haven’t seen him scapegoated to be honest, but I wish him all the best. His well being takes priority

He's probably referring to the fact people have rightly pointed out he's never done it for us in T20I. With his form for Durham in that format, left people questioning is he in the side for the world cup.Not sure what I’ve missed here but what has Stokes been scapegoated for?

It’s not.It's a different kettle of halibut.
I accepted he wasn't in good form but some were going on like absolute fannies on here. Lad wasn't even fit which is why he was playing for Durham in the first place. Stand by what I've said, the comments were ridiculous. Maybe some of the embarrassing criticism he was getting was the final straw for him?He hasn't. OP kept going off the deep end when people on here suggested Stokes wasn't in good form. If there were off-field issues affecting his game, then that certainly explains why he wasn't at his best. I wish him all the best and he will be a massive loss for the test series.
