Durham Vs Gloucestershire - Thurs 29th July. One day cup

Absolute hideous bowling in those last few overs but I still think the batsmen lost it. 350 was the minimum we should’ve scored on there.

We should be able to defend 30 off two overs ffs. That final over was as bad as anything I've seen in white ball cricket.

I don’t disagree but it’s on a tiny ground and had we got to 350 like we should have they wouldn’t have been in the game with 2 overs to go.

Cracking game for a neutral. The Durham lads around me thinking they’d fucked it with the batting at the end of the Durham innings were proven correct unfortunately

Limitations of Rushy in white ball exposed there, he doesn't have any real variation. Shouldn't have been bowling at the death, miscalculation by the skipper leaving Dutchy with spare overs.

Ho hum.

Don’t understand why Bedingham was rested.
Only player who has played every game so far this season and he certainly won't be used to the amount of cricket is played and the traveling you do as a county cricketer especially at Durham.
Neither Rushworth nor Van Meekeren has any credentials as death bowler. Would have been better with one of the spinners. Better still Raine, if he wasn’t sat on his arse in Leeds.
Somebody had to bowl them and they are the most experienced.

Ce sera sera, win some, lose some. Rushy couldn't nail his yorkers,it happens to the best.

That was my view until I discover we've now got a full week without a game.
Nor is he "resting"-presumably he's still with the traveling party.I
Durham logic🤔
