Flags at cricket

Obviously see loads when England are playing abroad but don’t see many over here, noticed a couple on telly at headingley yesterday and got me thinking do all grounds allow them or can some be funny with it?

Bit hit and miss here. Lords, deffo no go (I've never even tried). Edgbaston, yes but not many places to hang them (if you try and hang it over advertising hoardings it'll be taken down). Rose Bowl, got an email reply saying "yes, help to add to the atmosphere" etc. Got to the ground and steward said not allowed. Showed her my email but she was having none of it. Never tried anywhere else tbh.

I’m going to chance Trent Bridge next month. Then will try Headingley and Old Trafford. I assumed Lords would be a no go

Ive heard Durham can be a bit funny if there’s a football badge on?

Ferryhill Mags wasnt it ? at the Birmingham Bears game on the Sunday. Corner of the Co Durham Upper as well.:D

Wonder if they call themselves Geordies and buzz off taking about airports.
My favourite flag ever seen at a cricket ground.

When Crawley took the winning catch at Cape Town last year that was right in the background. Class.

Anyone know what the oval is like?

Never took a flag before but they're much more laid back than Lords so wouldn't see any problems. The only problem you usually have at home grounds is somewhere decent to hang it, although this is somewhat offset by not as many people taking one.

I seen that going up as I was directly opposite, was also a Gillingham flag there. Going to take mine on Saturday

There was an interview with the CEO of Surrey CCC on TMS yesterday tea interval. He came across as very much as a can-do sort of bloke. Wants the Oval to be the everything Lords isn't regards to crowd and atmosphere etc.
