Fifa 22

Next gen version being only for PS5 Xbox and stadia will put me off buying this year's.

Glad as well as I always get sucked in but I'm not paying 40 quid for a squad update.
 


Reducing WL to 20 is a step in the right direction but would rather they extended it for the full week like Rivals. Do well in Rivals and qualify for Champions where there's better rewards on offer. Rather than play 30 games in rivals over a week to qualify for WL and play another 30 games over 3 days.

30 games in 3 days is mad if you have a family a job, it is for me anyway.

Every now and then I get to hammer it but end up playing far too much and then can’t sleep 😂

It's still think it's too much though expecting people to play 4 hours every weekend.

I know you don't have to play every weekend but it's a game mode that if you don't play semi regularly you fall behind massively.

I think there should be an alternative mode that runs alongside weekend league that requires less time but perhaps offers smaller rewards and you can only enter one mode per weekend.

I know you could just play rivals or squad battles or do objectives but that's not the same.

Could be a tournsment that offers an objective player if you win but if you enter you can't enter weekend league.

Aye, to be honest I didn't play Fifa for years up until lockdown last year so 21 is the first one I've played from release for a long time. Then my PS4 broke in October/November and couldn't get anything sorted because of the lockdown until I could get a PS5 in February. So it was a bit of a novelty for me and I enjoyed Rivals then WL but have family and a job so was always way behind the curve.

I played an hour or two every night for months and enjoyed it but haven't played for ages now as I just got sick of it. Definitely not since before TOTS. So God knows how people manage to play the WL stress fest and cram in 30 games every weekend.

Game will be great until the first patch then it will be like every other one. A game for mugs.
 
They can fuck off for me. Bought the last few and they’ve literally only focused on ultimate team and the rest of the games shit, but they don’t want anyone to play those modes so they won’t do anything about it. Fuck EA.

Ultimate team should be banned.

Mate even ultimate team is shit, servers decide results in weekend league.. Scum company.

This. I work away so can play for hours Monday to Thursday but don’t even bring my Xbox home on a weekend so I can maximise time with my kid. Weekend league is designed such that I can’t play it, and then I can’t compete with people with massively better squads because I don’t play it. Should just make it last all week and then I’d buy fifa again

Think I’ve played this year more than any others, especially WL, and managed to wind myself up a treat a few times.

I’ll definitely get 22 but need to take a more laid back approach!

Just hope it’s not so heavily weighted toward WL.
 
it went to absolute shite when they shifted the focus on to ultimate team. the first one that went backwards was fifa 16 and i only ended up playing it for about a month. thought i would give 17 a chance and that was even worse so haven't bought one since. do they still do the cringeworthy story mode?
