Watched Thirteen at Dinner last night starring Peter Ustinov as Hercule Poirot. Was thoroughly weirded out by the sight of David Suchet playing Inspector Japp.

Ustinov in his Poirot films was pretty damn good. Death on the Nile with him, David Niven, Mia Farrow, Maggie Smith and Angela Lansbury was a fantastic film. But when I think of Poirot I picture Suchet.
That was one of the weird ones that was set in present day wasn’t it, just weird.
Black Widow (2021). Watched this last night on Disney Plus. Bit of a slow burner scattered with some action set pieces. Very similar to a Jason Bourne movie. Not the best Marvel film, but not the worst. 6/10
Just finished it, it’s not bad, Jesus ray winstone tho, how does he keep stealing a living as an actor. He’s absolutely terrible in this.

Infinite, interesting sci fi/reincarnation movie (not something you see everyday) but more of a Wahlberg showpiece which was a shame as it was an interesting idea. Some good action sequences.

Giz a bit more Danny, brief synopsis or something. Might watch it tonight after work.
Brad Pitt is trained by Redford to be a CIA officer but Brad breaks the rules for his lass who got locked up in a chinese prison. He makes a daring rescue plan and the results are far reaching. A film by Tony Scott director of Man on Fire.

Which channel? Did they just overdub the non-PC parts?

A Quiet Place 2 - 8/10.

Very good plot and direction.
Just seen it. Was mint. Was worried it would be shite. That young lass is mint.
Good film

8/10 the island. I've forgotten how good Ewan is when he's not being a hero jedi. Would've been a ten but Bay turned down Scarlett Johansson s offer to get naked for the sex scene. What a dick.

9.5/10 for a quiet place part 2.

Whiplash

Can't believe I haven't seen this before. Miles Teller is a budding drummer, J.K Simmons is a nasty perfectionist teacher.

Brilliant film, well worth its Oscars.

It's a 3.5/4 from Mux, make no mistake.

Thor!

The Boys from Brazil.

Absolutely class. Loads of old man fistfights, mad over the top accents, and Gregory Peck strutting around in white safari suits like a nazi Kenny Rogers meets Colonel Sanders. The only downside is there isn't nearly enough Steve Gutenberg.
