Aye. They lose. They say the process wasn’t transparent and it’s a conspiracy against them then lobby the government to put pressure on the PL for them.

Embarrassing. They’re transparent. The rueben brothers are billionaires. They could still buy the club but they won’t, and why not? Because they’re only there as a front to hide that all the money is coming from the Saudi government who then invest in their assets at Gosforth racecourse and the likes :lol:

have the saudi's informed the PL who the directors are then so they can "apply the checks"? i thought that was what they were waiting for which is why nowt happened for months?
 
Just listening to Simon Jordan and he pretty much laid into Amanda Stavely reaching out to the government. It was canny funny. Basically they want transparency so it can all come out in the open for everyone to see. The issue is that the premier league as a group of clubs have to agree to arbitration becoming transparent as when they become a member they abide by the rules. What Newcastle can do is write and agree with all other clubs that every arbitration is public but SJ said other clubs aren't going to agree to that when they know that another state owned club would move say an Arsenal another position down. As has always been the case if this isn't in public the takeover won't happen (with the saudis anyway). She said in that interview she wouldn't give up so will probably be back with another buch of arabs at some point.
