Edit - sorry reread it - people would have to move on. If there was a legitimate reason and it was an open process it would mean there was no alternative - especially as the potential buyer requested it.

What do you think of the rest of the post? If the club and the potential buyer and happy with it being public, do you not think it should be?

I’ve not been following any of this as unlike some of my fellow Mackems I have zero interest in what goes on at Newcastle. Hence, I’m confused as to what is going on here, and what it is we should be outraged at. I thought the Saudis had walked away from the deal and had refused to provide the required evidence requested by the Premier League? If that is what happened then what is this enquiry all about, seems a waste of people’s time and money.

The season runs over quite a few months, so I said I would check back in 12 months to see if you were still in in League Divison 3 (you will be).

Your missing the point though. As I would expect all mackems to do. It's not just about our takeover it's about forcing the PL to act in clubs/fans interest and not their own. It's a continuation of opening up so that they can't be doing more shite like ESL and bowing down to top 6 pressure.

If clubs and buyers want it open and fair, why shouldn't it be?
