It seems to be going badly for them. It's getting a bit like a kid being told they can't have something and screaming and stamping their feet. Still at least we have another month of them making absolute knackers of themselves 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You can disagree with the potential new owners and the sportswashing that will likely include, but you can't really disagree with this.

They aren't asking for any favours, just that the process be above board and open to public scrutiny. We (practically everyone) argued that we needed this following the ESL bollocks. The premier League can't expect to just cloak and dagger its way to whatever means it wants. It needs regulating.

If the case plays out in the public and it fails fair enough. I don't think a single person could argue with that. Those involved in the takeover etc have kind of already proven that the big 6 have influence - it should be a fair and open process. Whether that's favourable for the fans wanting an outcome or not.

You can't genuinely believe that's what would happen.
Eh? I cant genuinely believe what will happen?

Edit - sorry reread it - people would have to move on. If there was a legitimate reason and it was an open process it would mean there was no alternative - especially as the potential buyer requested it.

What do you think of the rest of the post? If the club and the potential buyer and happy with it being public, do you not think it should be?

I think it should be public if both parties agree to it. I have a real problem with anyone connected to the Saudi state demanding something in the UK should be conducted openly and with transparency though.

Like I said in my original post, people are free to comment on the state of KSA all they want. Christ, I won't defend them. I'd rather it was anyone else.

It doesn't mean that the process shouldn't be open for all to see. It's time we started being able to hold the EPL to account. I hope the independent regulator can root out any and all corruption within the EPL. Let's be honest, with FiFA and UEFA having crooks, I doubt the EPL is squeeky clean.

Point to where I disagreed with that? In fact you will find the exact opposite if you could be arsed to read my first message.

What happened to their potential USA takeover as a back up option ? Last I heard it was a big offer that would satisfy Ashley, or is it just not big enough ?

Reading some of the comments on the #NUFCTakeover Twitter feed is pretty vomit inducing. "Wor Mandy" got a mention. Pass the sick bucket...
