Durham v Warwickshire (a) T20

Quick change around and not really any tried and trusted options to freshen the team up a bit.
Hopefully they can get back to winning ways with a more disciplined all round performance.
One good thing is the big hitters in the northern group have had poor results in the last week as well so the whole league has tightened up.

So, because you don't care about t20, nobody should?

It's a trophy that we looked genuinely capable of competing in, three games ago. We've not lost to good teams, as per Notts, but played badly.
People are entitled to lose their minds over T20 if they so wish. I couldn't care less to be honest, some of the comments I've read during this competition have been utterly embarrassing but I guess opinions are like arseholes.... We all have them. Roll on the 4 day stuff again.

Format snobbery and gatekeeping is embarrassing tbf.

We are doing better than expected. I'm genuinely not arsed about T20. My expectations were very very low. Sooner the better the proper cricket starts again.
The bits in bold I wholeheartedly agree with, it’s exactly where I’m at with it all.

The enlarged red bit is where you’re being more than a little bit disingenuous in fairness, if you were genuinely not arsed I would imagine you wouldn’t spend your money going to support the lads in this competition ;)

I think where most of us are on this, I’m fairly confident you are the same as me here, is that we want Durham to win every game of cricket they ever play. So we very much hope we qualify for the next stage - but we’d sooner see a Championship trophy being paraded around Chester-le-street in September than a T20 one ;)
Crickey there is some quality sport on the TV and streams today could be sore fingers on the remote from 2.30pm.
I’m just worried about this weather. Most of the local cricket fixture list will be wiped out, hopefully it’s a little drier in the midlands.

4day exclusive T20 snobs get on my tits
I want a team whom I support to wish to win every game and T20 is a game that Durham haven’t really excelled in having been in only two finals day but it is a game we should be looking to prosper in and the format and atmosphere are a good introduction to the game for the younger generation.
I just don’t get the snooty attitude prevalent among some members

As I keep saying I've got my membership which entitles us to admission, it's got the nephew involved with the club(which for him is great) and for me and the wife it's merely a night out for a bit craic more so at the moment with the way the world is. The outcome of the game is a bit meh to be honest whereas the one day cup and red ball cricket I'm more interested in & find those as a priority. T20 I just can't get myself worked up over either way to be honest. I didn't even go to finals day last time we made it.

Well there is cause for concern -bowling has been undisciplined in these last few games. Appears to be a lack of drive and leadership, maybe stale through games coming so thick and fast. Stuck with what we've got so nothing gained by moaning.

At least Sacriston have a canny bowling attack though!

So are you paying to go and watch the games… Yes ;)

Any reason why martys commentary is not on the live feed again?
Who would you drop? Probably Stokes based on last couple of games 😂
I'd give him a chance of opening and tell him to try his offspin when he's bowling, may aswel try something different with him

Anywhere showing it? Durham match centre hadn't updated yesterday's coverage yet.
