People going on as though he was backpacking around Sunderland for 6 weeks at a time, getting a summer interrail pass for the metro :lol: he surely meant it was only for the odd mini break. I thought that was obvious.

Tbf, it's easy to get mixed up between Sunderland and Newcastle. @johnna did.

I remember seeing him down there. He'd bought some of those daft spinners from Bungalow Cafe and was having a nightmare. Everyone else was catching but him. Anyway, I loaned him an ABU Koster and he couldn't stop catching. Fish scales all over those baggy pants before he climbed back on the tour bus at the Blockyards.
