June 21st

Well since around May for sure, but some who appeared in various media forms I’ve always been angered by, Susan Michie struggles to hide her delight at restrictions, Devi Shridar likewise. You then have the likes of Gabriel Scully whom views everything through the prism of Covid. Some members of SAGE also have systematically frightened people by suggesting life will be changed forever. That Hopkins character involved with PHE is the worst for that.

So you hate them because you think they enjoy controlling your life, is that it? Which government advisory committee does Gabriel Scully sit on?

I presume he sits on Independent SAGE. I hate them because I think they enjoy the way people’s lives are being controlled, and I think they and the media are culpable for terrorising a population which will have massive long-term consequences.

You think they enjoy it...but you don't actually know, right?

You think the media is terrorising the population?

The BBC literally ran a story earlier today about how things are looking good for July 19. I wouldn't call that terrifying. Would you?

I think it's a fair assumption that the vast majority of the 45% double-vaccinated people who died will be elderly and possibly too frail to fight off a Covid infection despite the vaccinations. The age demographic of those currently at that advanced stage of double-vaccination would point to that.

It's a bit of a disingenuous lead headline as it strongly implies vaccine fallibility without providing any further information as to the age of those who have died.

Its quite worrying that a doctor is seemingly struggling with KS3 maths

Said it before many times - probably on this thread also, truth be known - that the biggest battle in the months to come will be convincing a large number of people that it's safe to go back to normal.

You only have to look at people being interviewed on TV, or the results from some of the polls conducted by the media to see that many people are still wary of normality. This could be down to the demographic they choose to poll or interview - or the fact that most of the interviews they show or quote are cherry-picked to suit the headline. Or it could be down to genuine fear.

It's understandable given that the vast, vast majority of headlines, soundbites and tweets over the last year or so have been nothing but doom and gloom, with a smattering of apocalypse to add some weight. No media outlet has given the same amount of column-space or airtime to 'best-case' scenarios as they have to the pronouncements of Armageddon that we have been bombarded with for what seems like an eternity.

Even for the most optimistic person - and I have tried to be that person all the way through with varying degrees of success - it's wearying and mentally debilitating, so God knows what effect it has on people with a more naturally pessimistic outlook.
Might have helped if we had a government that can be trusted, lie after lie after lie, no wonder some people refuse the vaccine and have a fear of normality.

I agree - but the Press and TV media have a lot to answer for due to the tone of their reporting all the way through the pandemic.

A prime example being the switch to reporting percentage rises in the last couple of weeks as they sound a lot worse than the actual numbers.

The press commented that deaths were artificially low yesterday, but won’t comment that they are also artificially high today.

See Scotland has put there freedom day back to 9th august. Masks still have to be worn in shops then and also on public transport.

That's nothing new though, the press have been lying and brainwashing the public since it was created.

Following announcement that 60,000 fans will be allowed at Wembley for Euros semis & final, ministers are about to sign off exemption to allow thousands of VIPs to attend w/o quarantine

Dan Rosenfield, PM’s chief of staff, personally negotiated exemption

The government can do whatever they want and just say it's part of a trial.

As a trial event on international travel we've let UEFA VIP's in without restrictions, monitoring the results carefully etc. As a trial circumstance we've let Michael Gove not isolate.

If you don't isolate from a red list country we threaten you with a £10,000 fine however.

When we get into our mid sixties our ability to synthesise protien drops off a cliff, the same when our BMI is too high. Covid is specific in it's non hormonal thinking, for without sentiment all it knows is that it's programmed to balance nature, to remove the weak branches that the healthy new ones can break through. Viruses have been in exstence much longer than we have, ever ready to put right what we and other sentients fuck up.

Covid has a job to do, so when we try and stop ths natural process with lockdowns and vaccines it ups it's infection rate at the expense of severity for it knows only the weakest remain. Everything in life is a deal, but to accept this fully we have to step our of the sentiment room where gods and fairness reside.

Our fear of death is mostly to do with the quality of our own life and our inability to be kind to others...no malice means no fear.

I hope this helps 👍

Viruses don’t think. They don’t have jobs. They don’t right wrongs. They don’t have a conscience.

Why do you post this absolute nonsense?
