Sounds like most mags, enjoyed going during the good times, can’t be @rsed to go during the bad times, but is willing to go back if someone pumps millions into the club, and then claim to be the loyalist fans in the world.

23 years? Was that just in time to see the 3-2 over Barca? RU, RU and SF in the FA-Cup.

Had that group of fans witnessed a few relegation scraps and relegation they wouldn't have stuck with it. Many have thrown in the towel already due to Ashley.
 
They genuinely think people have fallen for this whole ‘we just want someone who cares bollocks’ Freddy Shepherd cared but they hounded him out. This is 100% about greed and having the richest owners in the world so they can buy success.

shepherd cared but slagged them off. as if the saudi's care about them man. they just want a club to do their sportswashing. newcastle is their perfect option.

Have a word with yourself! Came back as Champs both times. In his supporting life time they finished 3rd, 4th and 5th twice, 2 x FA cup finals, 2 x FA cup semi finals and semi of UEFA. The experience of following Newcastle and Sunderland in this period is incomparable.

Totally agree, I remember after the first relegation sure they only got about 36k v reading (still a cracking crowd). Would be good to see them struggle in mid table just to see their reaction.

Mags rewriting history again. They hounded the poor fella out then when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer they all loved him again. Vile fans.

Of course they did - they “only” finished 5th and semi final of UEFA cup. There rivals, Man Utd, finished 19 points ahead of them.
