Worcester v Durham

With Trevaskis playing both and Salisbury the second game in the 2nd team T/20's in Leeds who did 12th Man duties 🤔
 

Sending them both to play at Leeds was far better use of their skills and time than acting as nursemaid and valet to the first xi. Salisbury has been twelfth man four times in a row. How does that benefit him or the Club? He’s actually played just one full day of one game (Leicestershire 2nd xi) since 6th May. Trevaskis has only played one more day.
 
Our Hippie Jones appeared to be more composed under pressure in the last ten or so overs than normally he has been. That Tongue chap for them can be pacey but a bit wild and wide but Jones knuckled down and didnt chase every ball for runs.
i hope the lad can continue in the same vein tomorrow and build a decent innings which will be good for his confidence

Jones is just starting out and I would protect him as much as possible, if we want to give him the best chance of stepping up. If we were going to move anyone up the order it would be Bedingham IMO.

Careful, I got pelters when I suggested Borthwick should bat further down the order. If we're using him as sole spinner, I would like him to turn his arm over a bit more than he is currently, and brush up his bowling. His bowling is more important to the team than it used to be when we had Breese and Blackwell.

He's playing like a batsman not in form. I am confident he'll get over it though.
 
So maximum bowling points, two batting points on the board and plenty of overs to go, two batter well in, can we get 4 or even 5 batting points?
