True but a bit of context needed also. Outstanding captaincy today with toss decision, rotation of bowlers, taking Rushy off early for carse who took wickets. Also 42 in the context of a low scoring game was a good knock. Scott Borthwick has put Durham in an excellent position on day 1.

Captained well today no doubt about it but still gifted his wicket away and put us in a bit of a pickle.
