Another stabbing

I wonder how many people making sweeping generalisations about London have ever actually lived there?

One or two who 'moved down for graft', lived above a kebab shop and drove back to Sunderland every weekend because they had no mates down here will say they hated it every second of it.

The rest have never even left their estate never mind an SR or DH postcode.
What is happening up Brum - I can’t think of a worse place to live in the U.K.

A cesspit, imo.

I came down years, and years ago, with two lads from the North side of the river, got a few lads jobs with decent money, most lasted a few weeks, one a couple of days, its not for some people.I got a guy a job in Hong Kong, he was on really good cash, lasted a month as his girlfriend told him to get back home to sunderland.

I suppose the pull of the deaf club and Chaplain's is just too much for some people.

Stop knocking cess pits.

I went to London for 3 days a couple of years ago but stayed in the tourist parts. I really enjoyed it but was looking over my shoulder the whole time, the amount of people there, especially waiting for and on the tube, was really unsettling. I’m not used to that living in Sunderland. Nowt happened and I got home safe but no way could I live there, I’d be a nervous wreck.

I couldn’t comprehend doing that at any age never mind 16.

I sound like quite a nervous person. I don't think London's too blame for that.
Love it there but never totally switch off/relax till im back at digs which is probably best way.

'Digs' ffs, did you share a bunk bed with Jimmy Nail or something?

Keep your wits about you. Be vigilant.
