If he scores only a couple of goals for them and spends most of the season on the bench, certainly.

has he only played 13 games for you? thats what wiki says. if he's been an arsenal player/support almost all his life, what would your highlight be as a comparison between:
1) a season at newcastle playing maybe 8 games and scoring a couple of goals
2) a season at southampton playing 13 games and scoring 7 goals
