If this theory is their attack then it’ll fall flat on it’s face. The premier league have already said why it failed and still 1 year on they haven’t proved otherwise.
The Saudi's would have failed on those terms if that was in fact the case. If it was another Qatari base Billionaire you can guarantee they would have still been consulted. If it was not an imminent threat to the 'big 6' of course it would be waved through. These hold power they shouldn't and Masters is happy to let them.

Always makes me laugh when they try to claim that the chairman of PIF is not linked to PIF, or was it that he is not linked to the state, apart from in his role as absolute ruler of the state.
They haven't at all said why it failed. They in their own words were drawing it out deliberately to avoid passing judgement.
