English fans are super loyal but I think Germans beat them for actual support in stadium.
Aye spot on. Their whole football culture beats ours hands down. Fan ownership, fan involvement, atmosphere, the way they are seen as valuable to the clubs as opposed to a hindrance, beers in your seat, atmosphere. Its just an all round better experience. We worked out we could do roughly about 3 or 4 trips per year for the price of our season ticket and in essence it was quite a tempting idea.

Their protest is over the ESL and also having 1bn stolen from the club.

You complain because you are financially sound in the premier league but your owner won't spend silly money because you think you deserve to be challenging at the top.

Big difference..

Thats why fans have applauded Man U but laugh at your fans.
We aren't financially sound in the Premier League though. If we were bobbing between 8-15th you'd have a valid point and we could discuss the notion of just existing etc.

We've been relegated twice in the last 10 years, and flirted with the notion numerous times in between that. We've consistently hired managers thare are statistically poor.

One of the reasons the price to buy us is so high is because Ashley wants satisfied the loans he gave us in the Championship - loans we took out because of his mismanagement.
People are cheering the fans of the top clubs wanting change because the entire future of the game has been threatened by their owners in the last couple of weeks and they are making a stand against it. What are you demanding change for again?
The same thing you wanted, an owner that actually cares, an owner that wasn't after making money from us.

Aye the head choppers certainly care.😂

irrespective of your league positions, you are financially sound. Ashley has made you so, but you all seem to deny it.

I've the yawn twins on mute so I don't know what they are saying.

Ashley didn't make the rules and the rules are if you go down you get 55m in one year and 45m in the next. He makes very shrewd judgements on how much he needs/doesn't need to spend. It caught him out twice and they definitely should have been able to stay up under Rafa but he knew that a relatively small investment the next year would easily be recovered. He may not be the best Chairman around but if he was our owner we would still be in the Prem and flirting with relegation!

Again, what is your definition of financially sound?

We have greater debts than you guys do right now. If we went down we'd be fucked and relying on another bailout. The only difference is our debts aren't gaining interest because the owner is taking benefits from the club through the retail deals and advertising.

I've no problem giving Ashley credit for things I believe he's done well. For example, he cut waste from the club at a frighteningly efficient rate.

3 out the last 4 seasons you have finished between 8th and 15th. If you had of won on Sunday you would have went up to 13th.

The lad said if you were bobbing around 8 - 15th. You have finsihed above 15th in 3 out the last 4 seasons.
Second point was just showing there is a very real chance you'll finish above 15th again this season.
There is, and there's still a chance of relegation. Either way, aiming and celebrating 15th like it's an achievement is a grim place to be in terms of fans feeling excitement and a belief in their team. It's just that on repeat again and again. Grim. Makes me wish the Super League lot had pissed off and left the rest of us to it.

You're wasting your time mate, they think they should be challenging Man City.
