They've been talking about boycotts for best part of a decade now, but I can guarantee as soon as the restrictions are over, they'll all be buying their season tickets alongside with the new kit.

I'll say this, the double standards applied to them at the top and clubs like ourselves is a disgrace.

People cheering on Man Utd demanding change, but when it's one of us, then what more do they want?

People are cheering the fans of the top clubs wanting change because the entire future of the game has been threatened by their owners in the last couple of weeks and they are making a stand against it. What are you demanding change for again?

I said on here ages ago that a pal of mine in Saudi told me ages ago that Newcastle were just a fall back and PiF really wanted either Liverpool or Man Utd. Anyone who knows Saudi culture know they don't want to be an also ran and want the best. It will be so funny if PiF turn their sites onto Man Utd. United fans will be placed in a very tough position.

I think i love my club as much as you love yours, or anyone loves their own. I do think our fans (and yours fwiw) are good fans. Not many sets of fans would still turn up week in week out after so many years of winning nothing. Away ends always full despite Sky etc putting every barrier in the way. I do think we have good fans, but how to you quantify best in the world? I have been to a German match and the atmosphere was unreal, much better then any game in this country i have probably been to atmosphere wise.

Their protest is over the ESL and also having 1bn stolen from the club.

You complain because you are financially sound in the premier league but your owner won't spend silly money because you think you deserve to be challenging at the top.

Big difference..

Thats why fans have applauded Man U but laugh at your fans.

It’s their constant need to be noticed and in the limelight somehow. They’ve got to be the neediest, most insecure fans on the planet. They used to be obsessed with being ”everyone’s second club” ffs.
Mind that Man Utd protest wasn’t a proper one - I didn’t see one cabbage on a stick...

Some Newcastle fans are very knowledgeable about football in general and can be good crack. But any fan of any club in the world who takes to twitter (or similar) to say there club deserves more than any one else is an idiot.

English fans are super loyal but I think Germans beat them for actual support in stadium.
