Played a old piece of footage feom 1994 tonight on Total Sport where John Hall is announcing Newcatle v Barcelona in the European Super League....now he's kicking off! ..give it a rest John and give your season ticket back from Roker Park.
No way? Is that available online? I'd love that getting retweeted around.

I think gods reward for us being Sunderland fans is watching Newcastle being the richest club in world football being snatched away at the final hurdle TWICE and watching the mags meltdown. This will surpass last summers meltdown 😂😂😂

What's even going on with this failed takeover, I thought the Saudis walked away? Are they meant to be back in for them or something?
Arbitration at the moment. Basically if the Chair decides the state and PIF are separate in legal terms (in reality we know it’s the Crown Prince pulling the strings) then it paves a way for the Saudis to come back in as they will be testing someone other than the Crown Prince. If the chair decides they can’t be separated either it ends there and then or the Saudis can put the Crown Prince up for the owners and directors test which he will fail.

The paperwork was signed the Premier League blocked it the Saudis walked away but Ashley is appealing it and if he wins he thinks the Saudis are obligated to buy it even though they've walked away and between covid and this ESL carry on they'd be mad to buy it. All the pressure is from the Ashley camp
