Zerozerozero is good but I think gomorrah is a level a above imo.

It’s some of the best telly I’ve watched in a long time. I’ve got it up there with The Wire. Even the music is perfect.

Whilst I enjoyed the Wire I am always amazed at the comparisons (from a quality perspective) given it had one dreadful season in ‘Amsterdam’ and the last season where McNulty is just doing daft things.
I don’t think it holds a light to Gomorrah

Each to their own. I was more referring to being hooked and wanting to see more. It was the first example i thought of. I still think the wire is excellent mind.

There’s another of Roberto saviano’s books called ‘the piranhas’ that got made into a film (on Amazon I think). The book is class - it’s about the young Camorra recruits and how they see themselves taking control. The films not as good but like anything if you’ve read the book it’s probably worth a watch to see the characters come to life.
