Around the Shires....

Again an interesting set of games starting today:

Essex will be one to look at, after a poor game against Durham (even with the win), they should expect to beat Wawickshire.

Hampshire and Gloucestershire is the game of the round at the moment, both with unbelievable starts to the season - be interesting to see if one can establish themselves as an early favorite with a strong win.

Somerset will need/ expect to bounce back against Leicestershire.

Middlesex and Surrey is the derby obviously.

A real test for Yorkshire, if we want to have a strong season we have to beat Sussex.

James Weighill in the Glamorgan side.Obviously hoping for an upsurge in form .Noticed Coghlin jnr playing for the Seconds during the week.Must be on trial 🤔

Surrey 114-7 - Rocky top scored with 44.

Yorkshire 138-7.

The two ‘winningest’ counties struggling.

durham seconds struggling to take the wickets despite their huge lead.

trevaskis has comprehensively outplayed thomson so far with bat and ball. dickson had 27 across 2 innings out of our grand total of 737- 12.
strange that potts batted so low, didn't he score a boatload of runs batting higher up in the last match?
