The Reubens are rumoured to be part owners of Castore. Lots of mags taking it as a sign that the takeover is in the offing.
They'll clutch at anything man. A Saudi puts his bins out and its back on 🤣🤣🤣
i'm not sure this is a great week to highlight a foreign govt lobbying our PM to force through a private company's transaction under threats of "damage" to the relationship of the countries where the same bloke is head of both entities

Aye I heard similar. Apparently on top of that their customer service is terrible as well. To be honest even if I wanted to buy a new football top, which I have not for about 20 years, the price of them these days is a joke anyway for a thin bit of material.

Might have agreed with you a few years ago but don't see half as many now outside of match day in general IMO. And all the kids are man City, Chelsea, Liverpool now.

I actually went to an evening wedding event through there years ago, the bride and groom welcomed the guests, still wearing their day time outfits and when they went to change an hour later, up pops the groom with his gravy stained mag top. I was embarrassed for him.

I went to a wedding a few year back in Greece - even though the bride and groom are mags the wedding was in a 5 star hotel. As part of the deal they got a romantic meal the night after the ceremony on this fancy set up right on the beach. They dropped their kid with us on the way to their meal and the groom was wearing his toon top. :)

Once the gremlins start digging and investigating with this Jobs and money for the boys lark in parliament, there's only going to be one outcome. You can see where its going to end for the Saudi's.. If I were a government minister or civil servant , I don't think I'd be taking up any invites to the kingdom or official Saudi functions;)

Joint statement from Pif, PCP, and the Reuben’s organisation last summer:

“Unfortunately the prolonged process under the current circumstances coupled with global uncertainty has rendered the potential investment no longer commercially viable.”

Haven’t seen anything in the last 9 months to suggest that they now view a takeover as commercially viable again, and have consequently put the bid back on the table.
To be fair, it was never about commercial viability, it was buying a billboard in the biggest league in the world.
Also, if I had a pound for every-time Luke Edwards has got something spectacularly wrong during this process I'd be speaking from my holiday home in Barbados.
