With Diamond, McGeady and Jones, playing I would have been tempted to play Leadbitter as extra insurance in front of the back 4

I like Scowen but people moan at him because he misplaces simple passes or because he plays hospital passes, got nowt to do with the direction they go in I don't think.

I agree with the logic but with that front 4 and Hume bombing on needs legs when the game gets stretched. And possession is irrelevant with that attacking line, just get the ball forward to them sharpish.

Just broke all the rules of my footballing philosophy but fuck it. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!
 
Simple task tonight, score more than them and the team selected would appear to be the best available to achieve that

I think we might see McGeady and Jones play a bit narrower, and the two CMs sit a bit deep to let the two youngans get forward. We'll see soon enough like.
