One loss...

Too big a mountain to climb after going with Parkinson at the start of the season. It will be the playoffs

Not if we win every game however unlikely that is
I see what you’re saying but if anyone seen the way we played today we are not winning every game are we

One loss and a couple of draws at the worst possible times. We should have been closing the gap and breaking into the top 2 but instead we've lost the game in hand advantage over Peterborough and given ourselves a mountain to climb with regards to catching Hull.
Is automatic promotion possible? Yes. Is it likely? No.
I'm normally pretty optimistic but I think the anger and frustration is justified.

...in the last God knows how many games and this board is reeking of piss within 30 mins of FT.

It’s never going to go away is it?

the reality is we’re not going to make the top 2 and we will probably fuck up the playoffs. We’re probably going to be in league one for another season

Mags now look like staying up, no wonder the moods grim.

Need to get at Wigan from the off. They had a cracking result today, but they’re still in the bottom 4. An early goal would rattle them. It’ll look different on Tuesday night if we’re only 2 points behind Peterborough.

We are completely out of it. Hull and Pboro are going about business simply and easily, whilst we look shite against Bristol Rovers etc.

We have the best squad in the league and yet we struggle against everyone. Pboro are dispatching teams 7-0 & 3-0, whilst we look like we’re playing against 15 men every week.

We’re play off bound, and the form of the teams in the playoff positions now, we won’t go up that way. League 1 next season.

No it won’t, we’ll still be 3rd, they’ll still be 2nd. We’re in dreamland thinking we can catch either of the top 2. We aren’t very good.

To be fair, we lost because of the coach's poor team selection and tactics. I don't blame anyone for feeling annoyed

At a crucial time in the season. Anyone with any feeling for SAFC is going to be annoyed/frustrated tonight which is why I find these threads so bizarre.

Some folk can't wait to have to pop at their fellow fans

Some seem to revel in it, its weird. We were never going to go the rest of the season unbeaten. Its still in our hands although unlikely we will win 7 in a row

We arent completely out of it at all, its still in our hands although will be some going to win 7 in a row. The others will drop points between now and the end of the season aswell

Whilst I agree, I can also understand people’s frustrations, we can’t afford to drop points like today, Charlton weren’t any great shakes, it’s another game we should have won yet in the end we failed to muster even a draw.

We didn’t have room for error unfortunately as we’ve always been playing catch up.

Had the fans been in the ground, Parkinson would have gone a lot sooner.
