Reminds me of when we had the famous Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole partnership in 2008. What a time to be alive.
Backed up by the European championship and champions league winner Thomas helmer with Roy Keane dominating midfield and a peak bolo zenden out wide supplying the crosses.

what an absolute shocker this lad has had.

I hear Leo Messi once flew over ponteland airport...
roll up roll up. 10k season tickets for giveaway here!

Just looking at the top 3 in the Balon D’Or of the last 40 odd years.

5 have played for or managed NUFC.
( would have been 6 if the rancid people at the top of our club didn’t ruin keegans signing of Modric)

0 for little old sunderland

and you lot wonder why we are far more higher profile
😂😂😂 Dear me....

You’re working out the cost per goal based on his wages only, you also need to include his transfer fee which takes it up to around £1.5m per goal.
My apologies:
Cost=£ 16,800,000.00
Wages=£ 20,800,000.00
League Goals=
26
Cost per goal=£ 1,446,153.85

Michael Owen: Real Madrid to Newcastle move the only one I regret

But yet 16 years on, one nunbskull is claiming Michael Owen as their own as he had won the Ballon d'Or in 2001.

You literally couldn't make it up.

🤣😂🤣😂

"Freddy was only doing what all the fans constantly do at almost every football club," said Owen. "They believe their club is 10% bigger and their team is 10% better than it actually is.

This kind of
blind delusion is especially true of Newcastle United - which, as I reach for the nearest tin hat, is only a big club in the sense that it has a lot of fans and a big stadium."

Owen said the moment his relationship with the Magpies' supporters was "irreparably impaired" came when he was jeered as he was carried off on a stretcher after being knocked unconscious in their in May 2007.

"When I got home, I switched on Match of the Day to watch the game and I could hear Newcastle fans, my fans, singing: 'What a waste of money,'" he added.

Owen goes onto say - "little did I know that in April 2021, Newcastle fans would be claiming me as one of their own."

And yet Owen and Bellamy and a few other exe players slagged their deluded support off.

Imagine I could probably say whats written without reading.

Surely even the mags aren't buying it now.

They walked away ages ago :lol:
Season ticket renewal time. They've invented a Billionaires interest (former Roma owner) but apparently Ashley's leaked to the Press Association that the murderers are the only deal he's interested in.

Not clicking that shite like wouldn't give them the steam off my piss nevermind any ad revenue.

I have no problem boosting the statistics. Their articles make me laugh, and it keeps them rolling out the same crap to keep the mags excited.

What will be interesting is if the arbitration finds that the club can be sold, and Saudi says "not interested now,".

How would the great unwashed handle that?

Of course Ashley is f***ing committed to it. :lol:

We're not worth £300m and he knows that. This deal gets him a tidy profit on top of his loans being satisfied - not a penny lost and over a decade's worth of advertising for his tat emporium. By all accounts he wants to do deals with the Saudi's going forward.

I've no idea what he's aiming for with the court case, I'd hope it's just compensation that facilitates a lower price and hence a different buyer.
