Well that's not quite fair Rustie, a few variables ,age groups etc. Either way the adverse reactions are in line with normal/expected incidents IMO, so not quite sure why it's been made into such a big deal.
 
Well i had my first jab at 12.45 yesterday..Astra Zeneca..been ok all day but don’t feel good now..aches all over..brows a bit warm..heart was beating really fast earlier anarl..not git bad but not good.

It is helpful and although his numbers are wrong the ratio is still massively in favor of vaccination.

Around 1860 people per million have died from COVID. 0.3 per million have been reported as dying from a blood clotting issue following a vaccination with causation as yet unproven.

If 2.5 million under 40s got covid about 2500 would be expected to die..

So each week we vaccinate we potentially save that many lives..

Yeah - I was keeping the numbers simple - but that's a fair point

The way people are going on about the AZ vaccine is nonsensical - if we looked at every aspect of our lives the way people are with the AZ vaccine then we'd never get out of bed

It kills around 1% of those who get infected iirc - so if we did nothing (no lock down etc.) then we could reasonably expect between 500,000 and 700,000 deaths in the UK

If we vaccinated every person with the AZ vaccine we could expect between 20 and 40 deaths from thrombus - and don't forget the link between the vaccine and clots still has not been proven

will we be doing the thing where if someone gets vaccinated, then ran over, it’s a vaccine related death like we did with Covid?
