Is that legit?

I will admit I edited it years ago as he did have 'board'. This isn't the original but another one of him.

Aye he's been about about a bit, like the carrier back full kit wanker (can't find a pic) and this is another classic mag gift moment. It's not just him or the lass munching the Greggs pasty as most point it. There's also the lad behind is munching his nails as he's getting the bus home to Peterlee and the wifey top left has recycled her Mam's 1970's curtains into a nice top. The lass in the middle also has a sly peek if you watch closely :lol:

It would be interesting to see what he did if the Saudis did come in. Remember when they had that French period?

I honestly feel sorry for that poor lass sat between the mint humbug gonk and the pastieraptor. The look on her face is pure "what the actual f**k am i doing here"
:lol::lol: f***ing hell
He's not wrong mind. those buggers live in a moral vacuum, they'd consider it a small price to pay for a possible top 4 finish.

That wasn’t ‘this’ Newcastle man !! This is about the 1992 club and it’s entitlement !!
Don’t get confused by that other small club with 30K supporters that played there before
You mean the sub 20K when they were mid table most of the season and that turned out for 20 games in a row? Those 20 games in a row were after their first 3 games as it went from 25K against West Ham in the 3rd game when they were 4th and looking good for promotion, to 17K against Boro 2 weeks later once they'd dropped to 10th and then down to 14K in the 6th game. Their lowest was 10K that season and they averaged under 17K and it was mid 15K for those last 20 games!

Yet they got 29K for the FA Cup 4th Round game so glory seeking at it's finest given nearly half of them were missing most of the season in the league games. Using the link below, I copied the table into Excel and quickly created a graph to show the crowds. It's embarrasing that over 8K deserted after just 3 home games and another 3K a couple of games later once promotion hopes faded, which is about 45% drop from 25K to 14K! ;) Can you imagine what crowds they would have got in they'd gone down into Div 3 the next season as Keegan didn't come in and the money didn't flow?

So next time any plastic '92er mag fan such @Wolfbeard starts bleating on about the 55,000 screaming geordies during the 'money no object glory' years that left them financially in the shite means they deserve more than Ashley and lower Premier League positions, point them to this post (and the other post HERE showing their average position for the 15 seasons prior to 1992 was 24th, yes 24th!:lol:) to show how deluded they are ;)

they will deny those facts mind.

Even I didn't know it was that shite prior to 1992 😂🤣 but I suppose simple images make it easier to look at. Fancy going from 25K to 14K within 3 home games because they weren't up top, yet 29K turn out for the FA Cup 4th round after being sub 15K the weekend before 🤫

It's amusing how they go on as if they deserve summit simply because they 'overspent' chasing success and failed during that period the Premier League blossomed and big money was a new thing. Most level headed people know they were an average team before and also realise the big money stopped flowing for them, along with Shearer retiring so Hall bailed and Ashley came in picking up the financial pieces. They've slowly reverted to their historical position, though Ashley hasn't ran them into the ground financially and has stabilised them better than most other clubs have been managed. Sometimes you think if only he had spent big and failed as they could have done a Leeds or Blackburn and plummeted but it may still happen but without the spending :lol:

So I've got this right - and good on you for doing this much research - because we haven't always sold out our stadium we should be content with circling the drain under Mike Ashley?

That's what you did prior to the Keegan era 🤫 Though in fact you weren't circling the drain, you were hanging onto the drain edge by a couple of fingers prior to 1992 😂🤣😂🤣

Can someone outline the "case" and crimes Ashley has committed?
Well for one he wants to sell to the Saudis so much so he is prepared to go to court over it. You are very keen to say any fans wanting the Saudis are scum, so I guess he's guilty of being prepared to sell to them? Does that make him scum you think?

See, thing is they are that conceited they just want to see millions and millions lashed around as it makes them feel relevant. They are so convinced of their self-proclaimed status as a "massive" club the thought of them going to the wall hasn't even entered their heads. Before that purple patch, they were just another bang average run of the mill club. Their status just now is where they've always been. John hall sold them a pig in a poke and he bailed on them. He's moved on, they never have.
I remember the times when they had poor gates, but your graph shows it in all its glory. Not that they'll understand it. They'll probably think it's a cave painting. Ashley saved them from ruin. I wonder how many times he's wished he'd done his homework..
