Aye mate, I still only comment on Newcastle though. And the RAW thread on there. Some decent posters on there, and a canny few are matesThat’s not true though is it? I’m sure you post on another forum too and are quite a regular on threads about Sunderland.
You really are a childish knacker.Your mother/sister/auntie/grandma.......whatever floats your boat
From the back ?Neiggghh chance
Almost certainly.Am I the only one who’d have a pop at all of them??
Fill ya byuts .............with three cos am rattling one in black from back with @BigPeterAm I the only one who’d have a pop at all of them??
Where has all the money gone that Big Mike has taken out of the club?To be honest they look like munters from wearside
I don't disagree with most of this. I think Ellis Short failed because he had no idea about football (a lot of American owners struggle with the complexity of it) and entrusted decision-making power in people that simply weren't good enough. The few decent-ish managers he had in had to fight an almighty tide meaning stability was never possible. The Newcastle fans have also been sold a lie. In my opinion a takeover by PIF will be the worst thing to happen to Newcastle. Due to transfer and wage inflation the investment required to get in the top 4 (or even 6) is astronomical and the cited additional 50m per season will barely touch the sides and will immediately be swallowed up in wages and fees. I've stated before that the economics of Newcastle and Sunderland do not lend to self sustainability and both require a benevolent billionaire to do it the old way of buy, buy, buy. We tried with ES and it failed. The 50m per season will ensure they will be in the Prem but perhaps 10-20 points better off, not owned by Ashley but instead being owned by a hate regime. The best thing that could happen (in all seriousness) is relegation, even double relegation and for Ashley to let it go for 100m to a proper owner. Not some US LBO or potless SD chancer type but someone who can rebuild and find a playing identity with a new data driven strategic approach rather than splurge, fail, repeat. Hopefully that is what we are starting to do? I suspect no Newcastle fans will see this however.
There is no takeover. The Saudi murderers pulled out.I don't disagree with most of this. I think there's this supposition that the consortium will invest in Newcastle itself and therefore boost the economy. The investment aspect is not a ridiculous theory - the Reuben's own a significant part of the city centre. The problem is, while they may transform the city (I'm highly skeptical), at what cost? If PIF/Saudi Arabia is that keen to adapt or evolve its image, make changes at home, don't buy us, and develop some community projects.
When this shit first broke I knew almost instantly it was bad news. At the same time, I also saw why people wanted it. If we proved to be half as successful as Man City we'd be amazing. The economy might get a boost. There'd be jobs. This takeover basically targetted everything that the government and Mike Ashley had neglected. I left the north east because there simply wasn't opportunities for me. I miss it. I hope one day I may be able to come back, but I can't live the life I want there either right now. My football team being shite is one of those things. There are days I want more from it, days I just accept it. The one thing I can't ever accept is this PIF takeover.
I'm a pretty balanced guy. I try not to assume malice where I think there is ignorance. It does me wonders on here and in lifeInstantly .
Then you say at the same time.
You seem to want it to me whilst pretending not to.
Oh so you'll reply to this one...There is no takeover. The Saudi murderers pulled out.
The fact we're debating is 83% (probably higher) of a recent poll of your fanbase backed this takeover by PIF.
I don't for one moment believe they would have invested in the city, its a myth made up to justify the takeover.
They have blatantly and laughingly achieved their goal of Sportswashing a PL fan base without actually buying the club. They must be pissing themselves laughing at you.
And 83% of your fan base should hang their heads in shame for wanting them in the first place.

Think it's when everything they do or have done comes to light and yet they still want it is the issue. As if you gave a shiny shite about human rights issues in Saudi Arabia until it suited you to mock Newcastle about it.
And that the guy who sees himself as the voice of their fans goes on National radio to defend them and their actions and raising mental health issues on Tyneside as being linked to it not going through.Think it's when everything they do or have done comes to light and yet they still want it is the issue.
Reading their "they're trying to improve" posts says it all.
You can't blame everyone for the views of others. I've told you I'm against it.And that the guy who sees himself as the voice of their fans goes on National radio to defend them and their actions and raising mental health issues on Tyneside as being linked to it not going through.
Disgraceful
I don't need a Saudi takeover to mock Newcastle. You create enough reasons to do that outside this subject.
