A while back it looked like Mourinho has found his spark again with Spurs and was back to how he was when he first came to England, instead of the seemingly bitter, bored bloke he seemed to become later. I was pleased he was doing well because I always liked him, but seems the tide has turned again. Think he will go end of season.

I take it you are aware that Spurs have a turnover of around £200m more than Newcastle, recently finished top 4, appeared in a Champions League final and have actually won domestic honours which were watched on colour TV. Despite him winning trophies at other clubs, they want Mourinho out because his style of football is boring and negative and they want to be entertained. Without access to obscene amounts of cash, Mourinho would struggle now at any club. Does this sound familiar?

Their fans aren’t deluded, they just don’t live in the past and worship a man because of what he achieved elsewhere. I suppose that’s probably the difference between supporters of a big club and those who want to be a big club.
This is the Spurs league chart which is the same as the others previously (blue finishing position, red last 15 seasons average, black overall average position).

They've averaged 6th over last 15 seasons, being no lower than top 6 since 2010 (av 4.2) and one of the big boys also financially as you say. The Mags get called deluded as they think that brief spell of success is "what they're about" and they should be pushing for Europe given other clubs are doing yet their history shows they're not a 'big' as they think. Mags chart is HERE)

Not once do they mention the bustard fortune he has spent. Idiotic morons
No mention of Rafa in the article either.

Do you think the penny might have finally started to drop with them that he left for more money and isn't coming back?

Oh and just to correct you. according to @Rosco Big Mike has taken loads of money out of the club.

I'm waiting with baited breath to see the figures from @Rosco

I'd take Howe. Yes he oversaw a relegation at Bournemouth, but they played some attacking football and that might be enough to get us to safety this season, if not it might give us a chance of promotion (playoffs/automatic) next season.

There'll be better candidates out there, and any well run club should have a shortlist ready to approach.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Boothroyd step down as England under 21s and Howe to step in there.
