I felt dirty listening and even dirtier admitting I listened to it. But I needed something amusing to listen to when out running the last few days.
So I listened to a couple of True Faith podcasts.
The first one had John Gibson from the Chronicle, who must be 100 and I was playing count the references to Geordies and 52,000.
The second one was Mark Douglas. I was playing count the references to Rafa and world class. He said the fans related to him because he was world class and they could see how he’d progressed them. Eh?
After I’d listened I had laughed so much I didn’t feel so dirty

Honestly I was glad I listened to it, I couldn’t believe the still, unquestioned adulation of a man who pissed off to China for money.
The narrative, is still, he loved them, he was wurld class and he left because he had the balls to challenge Ashley and Ashley didn’t like it.

What’s Wraith playing at ffs? Giving human trash like Tommy Robinson a platform is shameful. Most NUFC fans I know won’t be happy at that.

What if he had several billion pounds and he wanted to buy the club? And there were some completely unsubstantiated rumours that he wanted to invest in the region, in addition to making their team world beaters?

They'd be having full scale months long meltdowns begging the Premier League to let him take over. We know this because we've seen it.

Tommy Robinson is an absolute scumbag, but unfortunately for the mags he has a point here. The average toon fan has shown that they are more than happy to associate with complete lowlifes if they feel there's enough in it for them. The prospect of their football team finishing about 10 places higher than usual appears to be enough for them to welcome the worst scum in the world.
