What they squealing about anyway ?
If they get relegated, they will sell a couple of players for big money, let the dead wood go, reorganise the squad for nil net spend, blast their way to promotion and Ashley's quids in again esp as the daft twats will still turn up despite the "I'm not gannin back til til the FCB's gone" bollocks. They can talk the talk but not....
Absolute bunch of drama queens.
Spot on that tbf. They need to help themselves by not going anymore. Pathetic whinging about Ashley all the time then still putting money in his pocket year on year. Get what we deserve until we can finally make a stand against Ashley and stop been soft as muck

They don't see Jones as the answer. Obviously not a big enough name for their massive clurb agenda.

No decent manager would go there now as it would end his career. They have completely fucked themselves with the way they go on and no new owner will be good enough after they thought the Saudi blood money was going to make them the richest in the world.

Basically whatever happens with relegation, they're fucked. And it's all they deserve

Hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ladies and gentlemen from the same stable that produced
The horse punchers,
the coffin carriers,
the shop shouters,

may I now present for your delight and delectation...... ....

The Brassica Bearers. 👏

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Or does cabbage clutchers work better? 😉
Cabbage Carriers?

They're also now known as Newcastle United For Cabbages. There's even a cabbage patch doll of Bruce now ;)

If it's Ashley, Bruce and the Championship, I don't think we'll get anywhere near the 48k that came through the gates last time. Club had to give 10,000 tickets away just to get bums on seats.

But, but, but, 52 thoosand, 52 thoosand, 52 thoosand, best fans etc,etc...

Or is it just Sunderland who have shit fans if attendances drop?

Actually don't answer that it's a prurtest.👍

Benitez remains a very good manager, even if he's not the manager he once was.

We keep seeing this insistence that Benitez was chiefly responsible for our relegation. But, the slightest amount of scrutiny and common sense, says that bollocks. He had responsibility, sure, but so did McClaren. And so did the performance of the other teams in the relegation mix. Benitez got 1.3 points per game, which is most seasons would be enough to survive, unfortunately we were 19th when he took over and Allardyce took you on a great run yourself. Although, in Allardyce's first 10 games he got 9 points (0.9PpG) 3 wins, 7 losses. In Benitez's first 10 he got 13pts (1.3Ppg), 3 wins, 4 draws, 3 losses.

Advocaat's first 10 games he got 9pts
Poyet's first 10 games he got 9pts
Di Canio's first 10 games he got 9pts
So he's a better manager than di canio. Some achievement that! Although Paulo actually kept us up beating you along the way AGAIN

 how precious do you have to be to take what I said as an attack on Sunderland fans.

No arguments with anything you said. Kind of misses the point though.

:lol::lol::lol:

Been out of work since January, and the only club linked to him are Celtic.

Obviously most football clubs (and probably all supporters without black and white blinkers on) don't have the same opinion of him as yourself.

This could almost be the fish as he has indicated it is so easy to run a football club:

"They should adopt a moneyball approach to scouting. It's worked wonders from Brentford, Barnsley and Utrecht. And a manager with a brain would be useful, not just experience of being mediocre."

Football fans, and mags in particular, are often clueless. Just because Barnsley are currently 5th in the Championship they must be doing things right. In the 13 seasons that Ashley took over they have had 10 years in the Championship and 3 in L1. They were relegated from the Championship in 2 out of the 10 seasons, finished 21st in 3 more and 20th in 1 more and best finish was 14th. Yeah, the Mags would tolerate that. Jeez.
To be fair, Brentford and Barnsley are punching well above their weight with the strategy they have. If the mags, or us for that matter, were anywhere near as efficient with recruitment, they'd probably be a top 6 team.

More importantly, football club owners.

Not some waffling cat botherer on the internet.

 what a f***ing stupid argument. Pochettino left Spurs November 2019, and only started working for PSG in January 21. By your rationale he wasn't a good manager for that time.

Toonarden
"Unless this club is taken over and a new quality manager is installed or, alternatively (unlikely), Ashley decides to run the club properly, invest serious money and put in a really decent manager then the fans should walk away permanently until the Corpulent Controller is gone"

Hasn't he invested over £200M in the last 3 years?

FFS they are desperate to spend Billions even if it puts them in more hock or bankrupts them.

If I got the stick MA has had over the years I would do anything to pass them off. Could he be the man who finally puts them in their place and lowers expectations. They've tried everything to protest from funerals to cabbages on poles. This would be the ultimate 2 finger salute to the deluded bustards.
