That explains it then, cheers marra.

For me, the only reason for players to play this would be if they’re staying on for the IPL, ie. the short time frame between the end of this and the start of the IPL meant flying back and resting etc would not have been feasible with flights and quarantine and so on.

But when Buttler and Bairstow seemed to be back for 5 minutes and then spent longer travelling & quarantining than resting, it becomes a farce. Then the likes of Scurran not making it out for any of the India Tests and then what’s happened with the likes of Woakes and Ali, it’s really poor.

Certain players have been treated absolutely shockingly.
