Then Hughes after about ten games in the Championship. With the investment Ashley will chuck in if they go down I’d fancy him to get them back up.

Of course he would. Would probably take intensive counselling and hours of work on the training pitch to get the mag off him but the lad can head a ball.
 
We’ve players starting for us who were signed as free agents having been released from second and third tier clubs and signings from fourth division clubs. Of course Joelinton, a regular top flight player with a good record overseas, would get into a third division team.

Surely people know the quality gap between where we are and the top flight?

They are the bigger club historically but I'd take Palace any day in his position, on a hiding to nowt with them lot.
