Honestly man no NUFC fan has ever gave a fuck about the small time efl trophy as we have never been wank enough to be in it they all came to rip the piss

I will give you your future looks better than ours though with that wanker Bruce in charge never known a owner/manager combo as bad and as hated as we currently have

the mega run under oneil was brilliant, osmans dive when catts was 234 miles from him to con a pen was infuriating

in the january we needed to buy big as we had genuine momentum, but we did a bob murray and got in bridge and kyriakos in loan instead and basically jacked it in as we were safe

he then boobed big time by getting a striker for huge money that didnt work with how we setup in the good run with the sess,bendtner link ups, as fletch was far too slow and weak and unsuited for 4 5 1 despite scoring a lot by xmas, and the team sas set up so defensively and chronic

so sess and johnson were expected to beat entire teams on their own

and buying bloody danny g when we were crying out for a striker to give us an outball

he seemed to coach the directness out of mclean and also moved hjm to right wing where he looked hopeless
what an awful team we were to watch

Over the previous 40 odd matches we'd taken under 30 points IIRC?

Not sure if we were bottom 3? but we were definitely heading there, he was looking every inch the 'busted flush' without any idea how to sort things that he does at every club if given enough time.

It's not the ups and down through the divisions but rather the average of the positions. So if we finished 3 in the Championship in 1998 for example then it's actually position 23 in the overall league (20 in Prem added). I messed ours up and the average position swapped in around 1999 when we were in lower division a few seasons and Mags were failing to win the Premier League.

This is something that's nearer to averages, the darker fuller lines are the average overall and you can see how it crossed late 90's and we're now 16th to their 14th overall. The last 15 year average is different and crossed in 1960 and wasn't helped by us getting relegated for the 1st time in 1958.

This one shows the actual finishing positions and the colours red for SAFC and grey for Mags show who was on top. Obviously for most of us on here we've had the Mags above us most seasons. The numbers at the top aren't the actual year dates as I didn't mess about apart from hoying numbers into excel. These graphs aren't perfect but it's just to give an idea

@Wolfbeard, I see you've come out again from your rock :lol: Are you Sima by chance as why the fuck would I be the only person you follow seeing as I only started posting again last week after being away since last July?
