Start on Monday the 22nd with a 2 day game against Yorkshire and then down Edgbaston for a 3 day game against Warwickshire starting Wednesday 24th.
Fairly sure both matches will be squad games with 15 or so players involved in both games.
I think it will be interesting to see who gets the opening slot in the batting line up to bat with Lees when the season starts. Also will Borthwick bat at 3 in the order or as Captain will he want to bat at 4 or 5. I suppose the other thing that is always interesting is is their a youngster they have been impressed with who they may want to give a chance to during these practice matches.

Franklin interviewed on Durham TV said the usual things about pre season they normally say " the boys have been working hard" etc.
He also said they where taking a squad if 14 to Headingley and Edgbaston next week and all would be involved. Mind a squad of 14 is pretty much a full squad of the players that are available at the moment.

i'd probably struggle to name 14 durham cricketers right now

Weather forecast decent for Leeds on Monday and Tuesday!
Sounds like Durham could be playing more if a Yorkshire 2nd string team as they are also involved in a match against Middx away at the same time. The coach Gale and a number of regular first teamers are down London for that.
