My point was that people are so wound up trying to win an argument on the interent that they'll wilfully misrepresent what is written to score points, instead of furthering the conversation.I'm literally responding to what you posted, There's no 'caveats'.
I think of the people in this conversation, Sproates is the closest to explosion. What with the big fonts and all caps...I didn't think you were as mental as him, he'd have exploded by now*... you're on the right path mind

Eh?My point was that people are so wound up trying to win an argument on the interent that they'll wilfully misrepresent what is written to score points, instead of furthering the conversation.
NUFC aren't being bought by the Saudis so this is all moot. But if you lot cannot get your head around the idea that supporting investment into NUFC and the city si not the same as supporting the Saudis, then I don't know what to tell you. Sue your teachers, I guess, because they've not done their job.
This. You can when you stated :-
"I support a takeover and if the Saudis had bought us and pumped money into the club and the area, that's good for Newcastle United and the city."
Whilst also stating :-
"I wouldn't 'support' the Saudis whatever they did in the UK, because of what they do to their own people and the people in Yemen etc."
You cannot state that you wouldn't support the Saudis in whatever they did in the UK, when they would be purchasing your football club and putting their money into it. f***ing hell.
GET IT INTO YOUR THICK HEAD.
It's hard work trying to get it into someones head, that they are making a point that is completely hypocritical, when they don't realise it, post after post.My point was that people are so wound up trying to win an argument on the interent that they'll wilfully misrepresent what is written to score points, instead of furthering the conversation.

Oh good. A decent thread on the management style of Steve Bruce has been merged with the abomination of the NUFC thread, because he is their current manager.
I wish the mods would stop doing this, there was some good discussion in there, some of which about his time with us, but now it is in this thread of multiple arguments and discussions running side by side.
How to kill off good discussion for no particular reason. Well done.
My position on the Saudis is clear, I'm not supportive of them. I've been consistent on this throughout. You've tried to suggest I've changed my tune. I haven't.Eh?
You have posted above saying you missed a word out, which entirely changes the argument / point people have been making over the last 5 pages.
No caveats, no point scoring, no nothing, you posted and people responded to what you said. The error (even if it was one), was with you, nobody else.
I haven't suggested that, What i have suggested, which has been proved correct, is that your statement from what it was, to now is, significantly changes the dynamics of the argument. My position on the Saudis is clear, I'm not supportive of them. I've been consistent on this throughout. You've tried to suggest I've changed my tune. I haven't.

It's since then, You have actually realised you missed out a key word in your sentence, I think it's you that needs to get back to school, and/or sue your teachers.
He'll blame the players, the toxicity on social media and the press. He’d be gone by now if the fans were allowed in. The day we finally snapped we were villains. He was throwing mud that stuck and he walked away the victim. Interesting how he ll deflect blame on this one. I always remember a Kenny Cunningham article about Bruce and his time at Birmingham. It mirrored everything that was happening at Sunderland. You can add a few more clubs to it now.
It’s what he was born to do, day after day, hour after hour. What a life eh, writing paragraphs and paragraphs of complete shite on your rivals message board.
Doesn't Hope say that Ritchie apologised to the staff and players, saying nothing about the manager?Back to the Bruce-Ritchie bust up, regular as clockwork Lee Ryder had his “everything’s fine he said sorry” piece up on the Chronicle website this morning![]()
Not sure. His problem is there is no plan B. His teams go on awful runs and struggle in games and unfortunately Bruce seems unable to mix it up. Same at Villa and us.He'll blame the players, the toxicity on social media and the press.
Was it when he was at Sunderland that the fans sang "it's never your fault" at him?
There's barely a plan A.Not sure. His problem is there is no plan B. His teams go on awful runs and struggle in games and unfortunately Bruce seems unable to mix it up. Same at Villa and us.
Feeling ya best leave Brucey boy out of the staff bit then cos his heed would roll........well, i say rollAh, aslong as it isn't staff or players murdered then it would be great having them in charge.
You don’t have to do that at all. There is no compulsion to go on a rival teams message board and justify your position. In fact there is no compulsion to come here at all.The problem with this place is that I have to caveat everything for fear of someone picking on something small and expanding it.
I like to hear informed dissenting opinions about NUFC and once you wade through the "SMELLY MAGS LOL" shit, you can find that on here. You don’t have to do that at all. There is no compulsion to go on a rival teams message board and justify your position. In fact there is no compulsion to come here at all.
Correct me if I’ve got this wrong (and I’m sure you will), so what you’re basically saying is that whilst you in no way support the saudis, you’re more than happy to turn a blind eye to their many atrocities as long as they pump money into your club in order to buy your way up the league table. My position on the Saudis is clear, I'm not supportive of them. I've been consistent on this throughout. You've tried to suggest I've changed my tune. I haven't.
