Hideous Tweet

For once @brandon I agree with you completely.

The comment lacks class considering the efforts to promote women's cricket as if it was left to grow organically it would be no where near BT Sport/Sky Sports.

Thanks marra ;)

You’re right on your promotion aspect too, which I hadn’t even properly considered before now.

Burns in trouble, while she's claiming her tweet was "taken out of context".

Stupid cow

Interesting that one of the women's side has, diplomatically, called Hartley a twat, saying if she had lost a test in two days and seen that aimed at her team, she would've gone mad.

So what made you follow @chunkylover53 around in such a manner?

Seems very strange that you’re suddenly making your second appearance here in 9 years.

It's a mockery. She can put out a tweet having a dig at the lads getting beat, but he sticks up for the side and calls her out and gets the bollocking? Na fam

I agreed until you said "na fam". Like withheld.

F*cking ridiculous that.

However it does appear something good is being done about it. Anderson and Stokes ‘liked’ Burns’ Tweet so it is clear the lads weren’t happy about it. While Duckett and Rushy have shown their displeasure at the wording too.

Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot and one of the England men ridiculed a defeat for the England women.......

Or look at the response from Burns that was bang on the money yet later deleted (no doubt because he was asked/made to do so).
Women play cricket now ???,😳😳

She obviously never thought it though before posting it imo, after such a massive loss was clearly the wrong thing to do.

But imo she did it in yest, thoughtless and insensitive yes, but not hideous in the slightest, could be wrong did see any malice in there at all.

In her position should she posted it, definitely not, would have more been made of it if the other way round, definitely yes.

Typical of the modern day lack of perspective.
Burns and company should grow a skin instead of being a set of fannies.
The lass obviously didn’t mean any harm it was just a bit of humour.
