FA Charge Burton Albion and SAFC

Both Clubs have been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20 following their fixture on 20 Feb - “both clubs allegedly failed to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 55th minute of the fixture....... “. They have both been given until Friday to answer the charges.

We can claim that Darren Drysdale set us an example. That said, that sort of thing happens game in and game out, why just Burton and Sunderland, it only resulted in 2 yellow cards FFS.

Can anyone inform me if the EFL have form for doing this in the probably hundreds of other times, incidents like that have occured ?

It was over before it started and if anything added to the entertainment of the game.

i’m assuming it all comes down to what is in the referees report for each game as to what incidents get inspected.
