I think they’ve been so desperate for a pay day if and when we get promoted that KLD has probably driven a hard bargain and let them keep some shares on the basis that they have no say in the running of the club and hopefully he’s screwed them down on the takeover price too.

It was a typical official club video. It’s nearly always hard to really pick much meat off the bones in an interview like that but his use of the term ‘asset stripping’ has managed to make it interesting.

He’s right like. Donald started that process from very early on. Some people said it and got a very hard time for it but it slowly dawned on most over the course of his time here. It’s a huge relief they’re gone

That's the thing. Big big cuts were required - no doubt about that. But their initial intentions for purchasing the club and the way they've gone about it leave a bitter taste.

At least we know there’s a plan and a vision now so if/when it gets rocky at times it’s not like recently where we’d be sitting there wondering what the fucks happening and where we are going. Least now there’s direction and investment right through the club and everything is done with the clubs best interests and the owners best intentions.
