Starter: sweetbreads with crunchy salad

Main: turbot on the charcoal grill. Some form of crunchy potato with it

Dessert: pan fried scallops on black pudding purée

Starter, either pork pie and pease pudding or garlic mushrooms and a blue cheese sauce

Haddock and chips and mushy peas (one of those ones that advertises that the fish is the size of a whale but if this is an execution meal, they have to deliver) - bread and butter.

Pudding - not really that bothered. Mebbes cold apple crumble and cream or some kind of chocolate and cream choux pastry confection. The cheeseboard sounds canny like.

Hopefully that would see me off before the executioner.

If it's a last meal because I'm old and dying it'll likely be a thin, bland chicken soup
