It was. Journalism in general has gone down the shitter mate, regional journalism in particular. however this lot have taken it to another level. In who's universe is Ryder a “journalist”? Novelist maybe and a shit one to boot. He wants hoying in the river.

Aye you’re right. It’s not just local journalism. The Sun currently has a headline along the lines of ‘England Star is addicted to prescription pills’ no name given, vague stories about a friend of a friend who’s seen this etc etc. I mean come on FFS... any of us could sit and make that story up.

I'd die laughing if he came back to a club above the rafagation zone, and took the fanfare and rafagated them again.

They've backed themselves so far into the corner in their worship of him, that they'd have to spin it that the second rafagation was part of "the project". But privately it would be tearing them apart, and we would know it!
