Craft Beer

It’s very nice on the perfect draft
Too easy to drink
Went to Rehils got 5 drinks for £13.70.
Brew York - Rhubarbra Streisand £3.70 5.5% 440ml can (one of my fave sups) 2 Tiny Rebels, one being the Black Cherry Soda Pale Ale which was lush. The Raspberry Icecream float. Both about £2.90. A Koka Brewery IPA with Passion Fruit and Guava and an Argentine lager

Dooper is super.
And the perfect beer to celebrate the takeover. Are you in the same room as me? 😂

Brewdog Layer Cake is better. I was on the fence about it but having had both again recently I'm firmly in the Brewdog camp.
Still got a can of that waiting to be drank. Didn’t like it first time round, but thought I’d give it another chance.

That said, as soon as Barney’s Marshmallow Stout of back in Lidl’s, I’m buying the lot. Bargain at £1.79 a bottle & lusharoony.

Wasn't a fan of that myself. Lidl must be due another beer festival soon, every 3 months or so? Supposed to start on a Thursday but last time I got stuff on the Wednesday afternoon as they were putting them out.

Just been down to NORD in Whitley Bay to collect a few cloudwaters DDH, couple of dandy lions from twobytwo, some Hazy IPA'S from the Beak brewery and some from Errant.

Might have to nip to aldi and get some cheap ones as the missus has taken a liken to craft ales but she won't be able to tell the difference......

Two By Two sent me a box of free beers, arrived this morning and has a Dandy Lion in it. I love their beers on cask so interested to try the cans.

I took a bottle of ' corked ' wine back to my local vintner the other day.

Whilst awaiting a suitable replacement, I enquired after the imperial stout situation.

"We have these" said the proprietor producing two champagne sized bottles - one of which was actually a barrel aged barley wine.

"I'll take them" said I, making a schoolboy error.

I almost coughed up a haemorrhoid when he gleefully advised me "that's £35, sir"
