Marseille fans posting shit as well, trolling the mags
That's been going on a while. Will be entertaining if PiF choose Marseille over NUFC to see the "banter"!

PiF just tweeted an hour ago and already multiple takeover replies...

TBF it would probably be a better fit. Marseille is practically a muslim city.

I am not sure that is so important - perhaps the ability to moor a luxury yacht in the harbour is an advantage! Even if they bought Newcastle - they likely wouldn't spend a night in the city. Mayfair all the way.

But collapse of French TV deal means with a small investment on players you get into the CL.

This lad is a little obsessed - . Bookmarked in case they buy Marseille!

Let's be honest here. If the PiF really wanted to buy Newcastle they could have.

Maybe an interest free loan to a company set up by Staveley and Reuben brothers to get them going. Someone indirectly related to the government on the board. They'd have found a way and the PL would have worked with them to get it through

My understanding is the PiF want a return on investment. Football is an appalling industry to get that return on, and NUFC are an appalling choice within that. They're expensive to begin with, need huge investment on and off the pitch, and even then are a gamble.

The whole thing never made sense. Especially during a pandemic

I genuinely think theres some of them who sit in their Ma's spare room on their laptops draped in Saudi flags, trawling for any link, and praying that "today's the day". Wraith being one of them. It's over and not happening. Sad bastards.

People like that pay millions to people who get them round loop holes. The PL only wanted something to separate the Saudi's peoples money from directly buying the football club. That could have easily been done by a separate organisation that is fed from PIF. From what I gather that was the only thing stopping it happening was the PL didn't want the Saudi's peoples money buying a manky club in the North of England. I would hope that some football governing body in another cou try would do the same of boris Johnson tried to buy a manky club with the people's money

I thought it was fairly straight forward what happened?
PL asked for details of the bid, like who runs the club and if they were murderers.
Saudi’s wouldn’t supply details.
PL waited. And waited. And waited.
Saudi’s walked off.
