Give your head a shake! You want them to stay up, just in case we meet them in the league and get beat? We fell like a stone in the Championship and were relegated by Burton.....I see huge similarities between us and then. I'd love to be playing them 2021/22.

They always make a good fist of bouncing straight back man !
That's fine, you have different view, no probs, but playing them next season (if we go up) when we are in early stage recovery would be disastrous for us imho.

If we somehow stumble in to the Championship, do we really want them anywhere near us ?
Let's say they do go down, they will lose ASM, and, possibly Wilson and Lascelles ( wudnt bank on it as many teams will struggle to pay what the mags pay), but what they have left as a foundation, added to what they buy with sales, means they will be a strong Ch'ship team.
Meanwhile, IF we go up, most of the squad is out of contract (and not up to the job of stepping up), meaning a wholesale changeover in staff. There'll be no big money signings and our aim will be mid table at best.
The prospect of facing them in our fragile piss weak state would fill me with dread.
If we don't go up, yeah by all means it wud be good to see the mags down again, but if we do go up, I hope they survive by the skin of their teeth but giving all their fans who are arseholes like wolfwanker the sleepless nights and palpitations they deserve.

I'd settle for losing to them in the championship next season. It's only one game and it means we are on our way back up. The fact they've just been relegated makes it even more fun

Doesn't look like essential travel to me, should heavily fine the bastards
What a superb idea - after all, they London authorities don't want supporters of every team not in the top 4 of their league to be turning up with placards, banners and bedsheets. I propose a Covid 19 maximum fine!

He lives down there, he gave up after allegedly spending a day there (when they wouldn't answer the intercom), then went sightseeing in front of the House of Commons when they were in recess, then announced a day of action then about 5 sad idiots turned up. He got the attention he was after, though. He's currently promoting GB News, crypto currencies, and QAnon and covid conspiracy theories on twitter. Not a chancer though.

We'll likely lose at Man Utd and Fulham may well win both of those games (I personally doubt it as both those teams are in better form than Fulham), and they'd still not overtake us in the league.

Then they've games against; Palace, Liverpool, Man City, and Leeds.
We've got games against; Wolves, West Brom, Villa and Brighton.

You'd expect us to pick up more points from our 4 fixtures than they do from theirs.
Good job football is played on expectation then isn’t it?

Nothing for you to worry about you mad bastard.

We’d hammer them. We always do

People also said they wouldn't want Wigan relegated. Yes, they beat omus, but they their position clearly shows that one tram doesn't make any difference in the big picture

Why's that? Wolves and Villa are good teams. Brighton slaughtered you before and Fat Sham will be wanting to rub your noses in it.
for them - palace are dreadful, Liverpool lost to Burnley and Leeds who knows what could happen

Whether we get dragged into relegation or not, I'm just glad to see better football than what I have been seeing over a month ago.
I've seen enough to suggest we'll be ok if we keep playing the way we are.....but....if we do go down, I'd sooner we do it this way than the crap I've been seeing to supposedly entertain me.
