He may spend a bit on the pitch, on the academy, on having the right people in place to run the club from the ground up. I seriously doubt he's going to be throwing 30, 40, 50 million or whatever on player recruitment when the club is in no position to afford it at all.
That’ll do me .

I think the last dozen games or so masked what it was like under Rafa for the best part. Look there's no comparison Benítez is clearly a better football manager than Steve f***ing Bruce, his record tells you that but not significantly so in his time at NUFC. David Moyes is a much better manager than Steve f***ing Bruce but not at SAFC.
Yeah it clearly didn't work at Sunderland for Moyes, but it makes you ask why? When he's doing well at West Ham so far, and he did well at Everton, why was he so bad at Sunderland? Rotten Core? ;)

I think Newcastle fans were more willing to tolerate dull football under Benitez because we were clearly hard to break down. Just like we were happy enough under Hughton even if the football wasn't exhilarating. We've been told that Bruce is a defensive coach, but we've been shit at defending.

Just have to look at the bong eyed bastards signings and his relegation patter after two games of season to get a clue as to why he failed here.

Think playing behind closed doors will help them, the atmosphere would be venomous at SJP at the minute but the team and Bruce are currently getting let off lightly.

Two reasons for Moyes. First of all he had a negative mindset from the off, I don't think he ever really wanted to be here and his negativity rubbed off on the players. There were some mitigating circumstances (that many of our supporters wont accept) Firstly he was instructed on day one to cut the wage bill by 25% and this was at at time when the new TV deal came and everyone else was spending massively. He spend big on shit players but this was in part because he couldn't afford the wages that better players might cost due to having to make wage reductions. Got rid of Kaboul who demanded a move and brought Djiliobodji in on far less wages. Spent big on N'Dong but on less wages that you would expect for that type of fee. In short he did an utterly shit job with a pretty bad hand. Still shit though.

Fulham have given themselves a great chance of avoiding relegation after the Everton result. Their recent performances have deserved nothing more. Build on that with a win at Turf Moor and it's on.
Massive game for the mags on Wednesday. Massive.
