So us losing Maja was just a part of getting the stars to align - it could happen but probably won't but wouldn't it be fantastic.

I want them to go down as much as I want us to go up. If we go up we'll strengthen heavily imo, and they'll lose players this time. Hawayyyyyy

nobody knows that. if they lose tomorrow and Saturday & Fulham get something at Burnley and beat Sheff Utd then they'll be well in the shit. it's a likely scenario especially now Chelsea seem to have turned a corner, and also Wilson out for weeks
 
I think they are safe unfortunately. They’re playing ok last few games and have enough about them to get sufficient points to stay ahead of Fulham. It’s another season of absolute shite though more importantly, and if fat Mike doesn’t sell they’ll drop in the next couple of years no doubt.
 
If Fulham beat Burnley midweek they will be twitchy.

Burnley got a great result yesterday so might be in a bit of form unfortunately

Well we won't get a result tomorrow.
I thought Bruce would relegate us last season. It still could happen this season. Last 3 and a half games we've looked better, but Wilson is out for 2 months now.
Before the Everton game I was expecting relegation with Bruce still in charge, hoping he'd get sacked with enough time to get somebody else in to turn it round a bit. Held onto McClaren 5 games too long last time and it was the wrong decision.
The Everton win and the half decent performance (by our standards) against Palace then the Southampton win has bought Bruce time.
Probably still scrape survival but it's a strong possibility we go down imo
