What a load of pretentious pap, it will never beat'' she loves you yeah yeah yeah'', now there's a lyricCrashdiet - Demoncrats lyrics
I am not he, nor master, nor lord,
No crown to wear, no cross to bear in stations.
I am not he, nor shall be, warlord of nations.
These heroes have run before me,
Now dead upon the flesh piles, see?
Waiting for their promised resurrection, there is none.
Nothing but the marker, crown or cross, in stone upon these graves
Promise of the ribbon was all it took,
Where only the strap would leave it's mark upon these slaves.
What flag to thrust into this flesh
Rag, bandage, mop in their flowing death.
Taken aside, they were pointed a way, for god, queen and country,
Now in silence they lie.
They ran beside these masters, children of sorrow,
As slaves to that trilogy they had no future.
They believed in democracy, freedom of speech,
Yet dead on the flesh piles
I hear no breath, I hear no hope, no whisper of faith
From those who have died for some others' privilege.
Out from your palaces, princes and queens,
Out from your churches, you clergy, you christs,
I'll neither live nor die for your dreams.
I'll make no subscription to your paradise.
I'll make no subscription to your paradise.
I'll make no subscription to your paradise.
I'LL MAKE NO SUBSCRIPTION TO YOUR PARADISE....
You're welcome ☺

Not responsible for overbearing Pap contained within.
Johnson's latest post match interview?
Nah, it's S Club 7. Politico Decapitation (rock rock rock the block). Catchy.I think it may be Crass, and it''s something like "Out of your Palaces, you Princes, you Queens. Out of your Pulpits, you Clergy, you Christ"
Just had a listen. Now I remember why I didn’t bother with them early 80s
Lovely song that.

I was never really into them, which is probably why I couldn't place where the lyrics were from. The replies have made me think though. I tried 2 different search engines, used quotes etc. and couldn't find where they were from, put it on here...Boom, a correct answer within minutes!. first thing that sprang to mind. Seems a bit similar to Irish Blood English HeartLate 90’s Morrissey b-side perhaps?
Yes it's Andrew Lloyd Webber's adaptation of that song from his new musical "Mags". The one in which Sarah Brightman sings "Yers just Divvent Understand"Shearer is a Wanker???
Well that won't keep me awake tonight. Probably the match will .Crashdiet - Demoncrats lyrics
